This page is an informational summary, not a medical consent form. Nuvara does not provide medical care on the Site or through the waitlist. A full medical consent and informed consent process will be presented to you separately by a licensed healthcare provider before any clinical evaluation, prescription, or treatment takes place. That separate consent — not this page — governs the care you may later receive.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, seek in-person emergency care immediately or dial 911. The Site is not appropriate for any medical emergency or urgent medical concern.
What this page covers
Medical consent is a specific legal and clinical process through which a licensed healthcare provider describes a proposed service, its benefits and risks, and reasonable alternatives, and through which you then make an informed decision to proceed. That process happens between you and your provider — not between you and Nuvara.
The purpose of this page is to describe clearly: (1) what Nuvara is and is not; (2) what you are consenting to by using the Site and joining our waitlist; and (3) what will happen when you engage with a licensed healthcare provider through our affiliated partner network, including the full informed consent process that takes place at that stage.
What Nuvara is and isn't
Nuvara is an educational and informational platform that connects interested users with licensed healthcare providers and a US compounding pharmacy through an affiliated partner network.
Nuvara is not:
- A healthcare provider or a medical practice.
- A pharmacy or drug distributor.
- A telehealth service or platform for delivering clinical care.
By using the Site or joining the waitlist, you are not entering into a doctor-patient relationship with Nuvara. Nuvara does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, dispense, or make clinical decisions about your health. Those activities are performed by licensed clinicians and pharmacies in our affiliated partner network — not by Nuvara.
What you consent to by using Nuvara
By using the Site and submitting information through our waitlist or contact forms, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- You understand Nuvara is providing educational and informational content, and a waitlist mechanism, not medical care.
- You consent to Nuvara's collection and use of the information you submit, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You consent to receive communications from Nuvara about your waitlist registration and, where permitted, about Nuvara's offerings and those of our selected partners, consistent with our Terms & Conditions.
- You understand that joining the waitlist does not guarantee that a licensed provider will determine a given therapy is appropriate for you, and does not create a right to obtain any specific product or service.
- You understand that if and when you engage with a licensed provider or pharmacy through the affiliated partner network, your relationship with that provider or pharmacy will be governed by their own terms, privacy notices, and informed consent process — not by Nuvara's.
What you are not consenting to here
Using the Site or joining the waitlist does not constitute:
- Consent to a medical examination, diagnosis, treatment, or prescription.
- Consent to the use of telehealth services (that consent is obtained separately by the licensed provider).
- Consent to the creation or disclosure of any "protected health information" (PHI) under HIPAA.
- A request to fill any prescription or purchase any product.
- Authorization for any licensed clinician to act on your behalf.
All of those require a separate, specific consent provided through the licensed provider or pharmacy that would perform the relevant service.
What happens when you engage with a licensed provider
When early access opens in your area and you choose to engage with an affiliated licensed healthcare provider through Nuvara's partner network, you will be asked to review and affirmatively consent to several documents separately presented by that provider and/or pharmacy, including (without limitation):
- Informed consent for telehealth services — describing what telehealth involves, its potential benefits and risks, alternatives, and your options to withdraw consent.
- Informed consent for any specific medication or protocol — describing the therapy being considered, its mechanism, potential benefits and risks, common and rare side effects, monitoring requirements, and alternatives.
- Notice of Privacy Practices — explaining how the provider and pharmacy will use and disclose your protected health information.
- Terms, pricing, and payment disclosures — describing the provider's and pharmacy's terms, the cost of the service and any prescribed product, and your payment obligations.
That full consent process is not a formality — it is the step at which your licensed provider evaluates whether a particular therapy is appropriate for you, and at which you make a fully informed decision about whether to proceed. You are free at any time to decline to consent, to ask questions, to request additional information, to seek a second opinion, or to discontinue the process.
Age and eligibility
The Site is intended for users who are at least eighteen (18) years of age, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is higher. By using the Site or submitting information through it, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
Your right to withdraw
You may discontinue use of the Site at any time. You may also request removal of your information from our waitlist and systems by contacting us using the details below or as described in our Privacy Policy. Withdrawing from the Nuvara waitlist has no effect on any separate relationship you may have with a licensed provider or pharmacy; to withdraw any consent given in that separate context, please contact the provider or pharmacy directly.
